Ken Kuranchie's Relocation..."Order From Above"?

The family of incarcerated Editor of the Searchlight newspaper, Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie, cannot get a hold of themselves, following reports that his current location is unknown. Reports reaching peacefmonline.com indicate that the newspaper editor has been moved from the Ho Prisons, a few days after being moved from the Nsawam Prisons. It is yet unknown where he has been moved to but security operatives have explained that is how the prison system is run. Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party, Sammy Awuku confirmed Mr. Kuranchie�s relocation to the media a few minutes ago. According to Sammy Awuku, he had earlier visited the Ho Prisons on Friday to commiserate with Kenneth Kuranchie and to show some support, but was barred from seeing him because Ken had exhausted his visiting period for the week. A worried Sammy Awuku said, he received a call from the incarcerated journalist's nephew regarding his unknown whereabouts. �We left there around 11:30-12 [pm], only for us to be called by his nephew�that they�ve moved Ken again so the lunch that he was taking to Ken; Ken couldn�t take it. And so they just asked him to take the food back home and that Mr. Kuranchie is no longer there�they�ve moved him to an undisclosed location,� Mr, Awuku disclosed. He narrated that when the nephew enquired of his Uncle's whereabouts, they [Prison Officers] told him that "order from above and they cannot give him any further information�. The Daily Searchlight newspaper Editor was found guilty for criminal contempt after he published an editorial which was critical of the Supreme Court's ruling on Sammy Awuku and subsequently jailed together with a member of the National Democratic Congress communications team, Steven Atubigah. Atubiga gained his freedom on Thursday, but Kenneth Kuranchie is expected to regain his freedom by next Thursday. More soon....
