Satellites Defender Joseph Attamah Assures: We Will Beat France To Be In The Finals

Ghana Under-20 defender Joseph Attamah has admitted that it will be a tough semi-final clash against France on Wednesday since Ghana will miss some key players due to suspension. The youngster who is among the trio to miss the semi-final clash expressed worry but was very optimistic Ghana will book a place in the Final. I am very disappointed. My intentions was to play this tournament without a card but here is the case the Chile match was tough and I have to do all it takes for us to win the match. Though I will miss the next match, it doesnt mean we are going to lose the match. We are moving forward and moving to the higher level, he said. Ghana will be without three key players for Wednesdays FIFA U20 World Cup semi-final clash against France. Centre-back pair of captain Lawrence Lartey and Joseph Attamah and midfielder Moses Odjier picked up their tournament second yellow cards in the die hard 4-3 win over Chile in the quarter-final. But speaking with PEACE FMs PEACE POWER SPORTS, exuberant Attamah believes their omission will not daunt the team from wining Wednesdays encounter. He is hopeful for success and said We have to beat France, we have to, and this is like a revenge match for us. We (Satellite) must show them (France) that they cant beat us again. We are going to the finals. Meanwhile, Ghanas Ebenezer Assifuah who scored the last-gasp goal during a minute into stoppage time in the 4-3 win over Chile has assured that Ghana will not be under pressure on Wednesday to beat France. This will not be the second time to allow France beat us. This will not happen again. We are praying to God to revenge this, he asserted.
