Spanish side Espanyol say they will sell midfielder Mubarak Wakaso to the club who will make the highest bid. The Ghana international has been a subject of intense transfer speculation after an impressive first season at the Barcelona-based club. Espanyol want to cash in their star man who has in recent times been linked with Swansea but it is unsure if the Walsh club can meet his asking. Clubs from Russia are also monitoring his situation to submit bids. Wakaso shone in 26 La Liga appearances for Espanyol and scored three goals as a left winger.
