Confirmed: 2014 World Cup Qualifier - Ghana Against Zambia Is On The 6th Of September

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has debunked reports in the media saying Ghana�s World Cup qualifier against Zambia will either be played on the 7th, 9th or 16th of September 2013. Director of Communications for the GFA, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has confirmed to PEACE FM on PEACE POWER SPORTS that the crucial match will be played on Friday, 6th September, 2013. �The match is on 6 September that is Friday. Ghanaians should please take note on the said match date. All alleged dates speculating are wrong and that should not be treated with any seriousness. The FA is arranging for friendlies in August ahead of the Zambia�s game but the date is not known yet. Sannie Daara also confirmed Ghana/Japan friendly match after the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, four days after the qualifying match. The Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi is set to host Ghana�s last Group D match in the qualifiers for the Brazil 2014. Both sides will go head to head in the second fixtures for a place in the third round of the African qualifiers. The Black Stars now lead the Group D table with 12 points, thus one point ahead of the Chipolopolos� of Zambia.
