A leading member of the NPP, George Ayisi Boateng says the two year suspension imposed on Dr Charles Wereko-Brobbey by the NPP is a step in the right direction as it will strengthen party discipline, unity, cohesion and stability. Reacting to the punishment as published in the media in an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr Ayisi-Boateng said by this decision, the party has demonstrated that no individual is bigger than the party and this has sent a strong signal to the rank and file of the party to be cautious in their utterances.
