We Will Deal With Any Trouble Maker - Police

The Ghana Police Service has assured Ghanaians of maintaining the peace and stability the country is enjoying especially after the ruling of the Supreme Court in the ongoing election petition. DSP Cephas Arthur, Public Relations Officer of the Police hinted that strict measures are being put in place to avert any worrying situation in the aftermath of the verdict. He told Kwami Sefa-Kayi in an interview that even though they have not heard of a plot to do evil from any quarters, it is better to avoid it than wait for it to occur. We urge Ghanaians that whatever the police will do to ensure that there is peace in the country especially after the Supreme Court's verdict, we will do it. We are collaborating with other security agencies to maintain the peace and stability of this countryWe dont have to wait for something to happen before rising up to it; you have to be alert at all times. You have to anticipate the good and the bad because anything can happen he indicated. DSP Cephas Arthur however warned: we will deal with any miscreant who will disturb the peace of this country. We are prepared to maintain the peace that the country is enjoying.
