$25,000 For Sacked Kotoko Coach

Asante Kotoko are ready to pay a compensation fee of US$ 25,000, as they prepare to part ways with coach Mas-Ud Dramani. The former Ghana U17 girls head coach guided the club to their 22nd league title last season but the Porcupine Warriors do not want to keep him. Dramani could not win the double after his side lost 1-0 to Medeama in the final of the MTN FA Cup. The decision to sack the coach was taken on Friday just hours before Dr. KK Sarpong announced his decision to quit to the wife of the teams owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Lady Julia. Officials who met Dramani to agree on the severance include the board chairman Dr. KK Sarpong, Wilberforce Mfum and Alhaji Lamine. Spanish coach Roberto Carlos, who was in-charge of relegated Real Tamale United, has been linked to the Porcupine Warriors job.
