Felix Annan 'Regrets' Missing U-20 World Cup

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is licking his wounds after an extended trial at Club Brugge denied him a place in Ghanas squad for U20 World Cup. The 18-year-old spent one month at the Belgian Pro League side instead of an initial two-week spell. He was axed from the provisional squad due to his unavailability for the teams preparations. Annan was first choice goalkeeper during the African qualifiers but dislodged by Eric Ofori Antwi before the start of the African Championship in Algeria early this year. The Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord trained gloves man expressed his disappointments of not playing at the prestigious youth tournament. I cant use the word regret but it was disappointing for me that I couldnt go to the World Cup because of my trials in Belgium, he told Joy sports I thought I could go to Belgium and come back on time to join the team but because I had to stay for two more weeks there was nothing I could do so I missed and for me I was really disappointed considering the fact that I was with the team for the qualifiers and the African championship. I was really looking forward to go but as you know at times certain decisions have to be taken. Annan is said to have had a successful trial with Club Brugge.
