Govt To Construct Over 100 New Roads With Eurobond Monies

Over one hundred new roads will soon be constructed across the country with monies from the oversubscribed government Eurobonds, according to a Deputy Information Minister Felix Ofosu Kwakye. Part of the monies will also be used to amortise portions of the 750 million Eurobond which was contracted by the Kufuor Government in 2007. Speaking to the Media at the Flagstaff House, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said the government is pleased with the over subscription of the bond. The Deputy Minister also disclosed that government intends to improve the health delivery system across the country with part of the money. Meanwhile, the President has sworn into office the board members of the central bank.
