Kojo Adu Asare Questions: Of What Use Will It Be To Publish Prof Mills' Autopsy?

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan Constituency, Kojo Adu Asare has questioned non-family members of the Late Professor John Evans Atta Mills why they want his postmortem to be made public. According to him, measures should rather be taken to equip the Presidential ambulance so as in case of any emergency at the Presidency in future, it would be averted than the call for Prof Mills autopsy. As the country marked the 1st anniversary of the passing away of former President Mills, some Ghanaians have called on the government to vividly disclose what led to the President's departure. Speaking on Asempa FM, the former NDC MP seeks to find what those calling for the autopsy report will use it for and if that will resurrect the late President. He however advised that proceeds must be under way to sojourn such unfortunate death from happening again in the future. To Kojo Adu Asare, the autopsy report of the late President should only be made available to authentic family members and not any groups or individual calling for it. We must find a way to address such issue from happening again rather than investing on what killed the President and putting blames on others. Though if we know what caused that, finebut of what use will it be after a year on? For me if the family has been able to console his (Late Prof Mills) death for this one year, if we have something to do, we should prevent such an eventuality, he advised .
