Ghana�s Economy Picks Up

Ghana's external reserves increased from 4.9 billion dollars at the end of last month to 5.7billion dollars as at today, Wednesday. It is expected that the Economy will gain further boost especially now that the energy crisis is over. Speaking at the second meeting of the Economic Policy Coordinating Committee in Accra, Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, was happy that GDP growth in the second quarter was encouraging. He hoped that the growth will continue in view of the government's interventions through policies and programmes.
