Presidential candidates who took part in the 2012 elections: Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah, Independent Candidate; Hasan Ayariga, flagbearer of the People�s National Convention, Dr Micheal Abu Sakara Foster, flagbearer of the Convention People�s Party (CPP) and Dr. Henry Herbert Lartey flagbearer of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP); Wednesday, called on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at his Nima residence. Their visit was to thank and congratulate Nana Akufo for conceding defeat, an act they (political parties) described as a �selfless act of patriotism�. They also commended Nana Akufo Addo for contributing immensely to the peace the country is currently experiencing. Prior to this visit, other dignitaries have also been to the residence of the 2012 NPP flagbearer to commend him and wish him well in his future ambition.
