President Mahama Confers With UN Representative On Security Issues

President John Mahama on Tuesday held discussions with the UN Secretary General's representative for West Africa, Ambassdor Said Djinnit. The discussions centered on issues of security in the sub-region and the ongoing efforts of ECOWAS, the African Union and the United Nations in countries to guarantee peace and security. Ambassador Djinnit, also congratulated President Mahama and Ghanaians for the safety of its people and the security of the state after the Supreme Court Judgment of August 29. Present at the meeting were the Chief of Staff Prosper Bani, Foreign Minister Hanna Tetteh and the UNDP Resident Representative Ruby Sandhu-Rojon.
