Elvis Afriyie Ankrah Very Optimistic Of Black Stars Victory

Minister for Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has expressed his desire to be in Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup as he is very optimistic Ghana will trash the Zambians on Friday. According to him, his Ministry and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will make sure the Black Stars win the crucial Friday encounter against Zambia to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers. We are showing to Ghanaians that it is possible to work in harmony with the FA to get results. Its not just about talking but demonstrating in practical ways that there is harmony, there is consistency and at the end of the day, we all have one goal, he said. With only three African countries, thus, Algeria, Egypt and Ivory Coast assured of places in the final round of qualifying games, the Black Stars are a point away from clinching a place in the two-leg play-off places when the second round campaign ends this weekend on the continent. Ghana, two-time World Cup finalist renews their rivalry with Zambia and, having lost their last two meetings, they are seeking to change their fortunes when the Chipolopolo arrive for the final Group D crucial game. Speaking with the players in camp, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah couldnt hide but frankly told the entire team how prepared he is to be in Brazil. I believe that between Coach Kwesi Appiah and me, I dont know who wants to go to the World Cup more. For me, I want to go paaaand we will go paaa. Meanwhile, Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has assured that Ghana will qualify to the 2014 World Cup by beating Zambia on Friday.
