Apparently frustrated by his inability to make love to his girl-friend, a university under graduate Emeke (surname withheld) in Nigeria has committed suicide.
The said Emeke, an undergraduate of the Delta State University, reported to be in his late thirties, was said to have jumped into a well in his family compound, after desperate efforts, including visiting several herbalists to revive his failed genital.
While the problem persisted, the deceased was said to have also visited several churches, especially white garment churches where he was subjected to 31 days fasting and prayers to solve his problem but to no avail.
Emekus as he was fondly called by family members and friends was said to have had a heated argument with his girlfriend, Kemi, over his inability to make love and he had promised to make it up to her after which they checked into a guest house but his manhood failed him again.
A family member who gave her name as Emelia said on the fateful Monday, after the episode with his girlfriend at the guesthouse, Emeke sold his clothes and shoes after which he left a suicide note on his bed.
She said she had heard him shouting and came out of the room to find out what was wrong with him only to see him jump into the well.
The deceased was said to have been buried after payment of a fine fixed by elders of the community, who described his action as a taboo.
