A Spokesperson for the NDC Legal Team, Nana Ato Dadzie has congratulated Nana Akuffo Addo on stating clearly that he will not contest the Supreme Court ruling on the Election Petition in the interest of Mother Ghana. Speaking on GTV'S current affairs programme "Talking Point" which discussed the aftermath of the 2012 Presidential Election Petition Ruling, Mr. Dadzie explained that Nana Akuffo Addo's declaration was worthwhile. A Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice Ayikoi Otoo contended that Nana Akuffo Addo spoke too early though others believe by his gesture he deserves a Nobel peace prize. Mr Ayikoi Otoo explained that the Committee tasked to look at the Judgement and make recommendations is expected to complete its work soon for the National Executive Committee of the party to consider the way forward. On the issue of over-voting, Mr Ayikoi Otu said there was no unanimity in what constitutes over-voting. Nana Ato Dadzie on the other hand said the issue of over-voting was very well handled by most of the Justices especially Justice Jones Dotse.
