Liberty Professionals were held to a 1-1 draw game by visiting Wa All Stars in their Premier League opener played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Tamimu Muntari sent the homers ahead in the eight minute having profited from poor defending by the visitors.
Liberty appeared comfortable and a shade ahead in the game played to a-near-empty Stadium for greater part of the duel.
But All Stars soon came into the picture later in the game, grabbing parity through Samuel Boateng.
Liberty probed for a chance to go atop again in the dying moments of the game but to no avail.
