President John Dramani Mahama has nominated five Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives.
They are Mr Alex Kwame Bonsu for Amansie West, Ms Veronica Antwi Adjei, Bosomtwe, Mr Modestus Nuworsu, Asutifi South, Mr Pascal Lamptey, Ketu South and Mr Seth Badu Tawiah, Ledzokuku Krowor,
A statement from the Office of the President and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the nominations were in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
