Nyaho Tamakloe: Kwesi Appiah Should Be Sacked If...

Firebrand former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe wants Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah to be sacked if he fails to qualify Ghana to the 2014 FIFA World Cup which will be hosted in Brazil. He is of the view that, Kwesi Appiah has the best crop of players in his current team so therefore must not fail to make good use of them by qualifying Ghana to the soccer world stage. According to him, despite having most players who ply their profession abroad, it is the duty of Kwesi Appiah to form a winning team to battle Egypt in the World Cup play-off. Here we have a coach who for ones has got the best players and most of them are international players. How to blend those players and give us a winning team is what we want. That is his (Kwesi Appiah) duty, so if he cannot do that, then there is no reason for him to be there. There is a huge task on him; he got all the boys, very good defense boys, midfielders, he has got even offensive and aggressive midfielders around he has very good strikers. How he (Kwesi Appiah) is going to use them will prove his technical skills as a coach, he said on Adom FM Sports. Ghana was drawn against Egypt in the play-off round of the 2014 world Cup qualifying stage. The Black Stars will host the Pharaohs of Egypt in the first of the two-leg encounter on the weekend of 11-15 October with the return match set for 15-19 November.
