I Will Be Surprised If Ghana Fail To Be In Brazil 2014 - Nyaho-Tamakloe

Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has said he will be surprised if the Black Stars fail to book a place in the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup. According to him, the Black Stars squad with the recent inclusion of Chelsea midfielder, Michael Essien, FC Schalke 04 new signing, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Olympique Marseille duo Andre Jordan Ayew is in a good form to beat the Pharaohs of Egypt. Ghana has been drawn against Egypt in the play-off round of qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Black Stars will play home in the first leg of the two-leg tie on the weekend of 11-15 October, with the return match set for 15-19 November. In an interview with Adom FM Sports, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe opined that, Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah has no excuse not to qualify the team to Brazil. Adding that, failure to do so will be a worry to the nation and the football fraternity. I will be very much surprised because with the sort of boys (Players) that we have, it is the duty of the coach to make good use of the boys. If he fails, then he has failed the whole nation. Playing Egypt shouldnt be a worry because we have played Egypt on several occasions. Egypt have been African champions for several times but I dont find them to be a team that can really threaten us though they are working very hard with their USA coach, but I dont consider them as a team that can kick us out, he said.
