Peacefmonline.com can confirm that the former Member of Parliament for Ahafo-Ano South, Hon. Stephen Balado Manu, is set to contest the General Secretary position in his party. Hon. Stephen Balado Manu will vie for the General Secretary in NPP when the nomination is opened. Disclosing this in an interview with Peacefmonline.com, the educationist was optimistic that his candidature will be preferred by party members as against Sir John and Yaw Buaben Asamoah since none of them has been able to win any Parliamentary seat for the party. He however said that �I have not come out completely to declare my interest because I am waiting for the moment the nomination will be opened and as soon as it is done, I will come out strongly to contest the position�.
