Cameroon Coach Prays For Ghana

DEPUTY TRAINER of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Ibrahim Tanko, is backing Ghana to beat Egypt. According to him, he would be the happiest man on earth if the Black Stars qualify for the World Cup at the expense of Egypt. Coach Tanko was optimistic that the Black Stars could beat Egypt with proper preparations. Speaking on radio from Cameroon, the ex-Ghana international said the Black Stars have the potential to edge out Egypt. Coach Tanko said Ghana boasts of crack world class players so football fans in the country should not be frightened by Egypt. On current form and quality players, he stated that the Stars were miles ahead of the North Africans. Coach Tanko therefore implored the Black Stars to face Egypt with determination and they will qualify to Brazil. He disclosed his delight when Cameroon and Ghana were not drawn to face each other by CAF, stressing that he wished both countries would beat their opponents and qualify to Brazil. Cameroon are billed to face another North African side, Tunisia, and Coach Tanko believed the Indomitable Lions would qualify to Brazil.
