Sammy Adjei Feels 'Bitter' After Hearts Exit

Ex-Hearts goalkeeper Sammy Adjei feels embittered by the manner he exited the club. The 32-year-old was told to look elsewhere at the start of the season after struggling to command a starting role at the club. Adjei staged a return to the club after a three year stint with Israel side Ashdod. But he struggled to win a starting role in the team which resulted in the decision to dispense with his services. Even though Club Africain guardsman had insisted he was good enough to man the post for the Phobians that was not deemed good enough as he watched the game from the bench in frustration. When asked how he feels about his controversial departure from the 2000 African champions, he said: I dont want to talk about Hearts. God is kind and he will make all things possible, he said in an emotional tone Hearts, Hearts, Hearts, you leave it like that. I could have been the number one for the Black Stars but for Hearts. You its ok. Let me just leave it." The former Black Stars goalkeeper is without a club after leaving Hearts under bitte circumstances.
