NDC Is Not Looking For GHc200 Billion Gen Mosquito

The General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has denied media reports that the party is looking for funds to implement the planned electoral reforms. These headlines that was just thrown into the system that the General Secretary is going round looking for 200 billion to implement the reforms. These are the type of things that can throw a spanner into the works, he said. The NDC has set up two committees to oversee planned reforms in the party ahead of the 2016 general elections. Mr. Nketia in an interview on Eyewitness News on Monday stated that the biometric capturing of the data of party members will be solely financed by the party. It will be self financing. It is a major means of revenue generation for the party and so I dont know where the idea is coming from that somebody is going round looking for money to finance this. Rather, it is the system that will be built to help improve the finances of the party and it is going to be self financing. He therefore charged the media to report the truth and seek clarification from the leadership of the party.
