A Public Health Nurse, Vivian Adafia, is worried about the lackadaisical attitude of most pregnant women towards Antenatal Care in the Ho Municipality. She said even those who attend the hospital, end up going to traditional birth attendants for delivery, thereby exposing themselves to various forms of complications. Madam Adafia therefore advised pregnant women to frequently visit the appropriate health facilities to know their status before delivery, and also strive to deliver there. She expressed these sentiments during an orientation for media personnel on Maternal Health Issues in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region.
