Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has ruled out ever trying to sign Lionel Messi from his former club Barcelona.
The German club's honorary president Franz Beckenbauer had earlier suggested he would be keen on bringing the Argentine superstar to the Allianz Arena, saying: 'Messi and [Franck] Ribery in one team? That would be a special attraction'.
