Real Madrid have announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered a lesion to the posterior compartment of his left thigh.
The prolific attacker was forced to leave the pitch after 54 minutes of play in Madrid's 5-0 Liga win over Almeria at the weekend and underwent a series of tests on Monday morning to determine the extent of the knock.
