The Chief Executive Officer of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mr. Samuel Amo Tobin, is reported to be in the grips of the police service for reasons yet to be known.
According to close sources, he was picked up on Monday afternoon by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO)and has been taken to the Nima Police station in Accra.
Until recently, Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited and the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) have been engaged in a series of heated debates which sparked public uproar.
It took the intervention of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health to intervene in the company�s disagreements with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) before cool waters were showered on the issue.
