PURC To Implement Automatic Adjustment Formula From January
The Automatic Adjustment Formula, a pricing mechanism based on factors that reflect the actual cost of electricity and water supply will be implemented by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission, PURC, from January 1 with an upward adjustment in tariffs.
The Public and External Affairs Director of the PURC, Nana Yaa Jantuah who made this known to a cross section of Journalists in Accra did not however disclose the percentage increase in the water and electricity tariffs.
