Pediatric Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Records 20 Cases Of Diabetes Among Children Daily
Diabetes is fast becoming prevalent among children.
At least 20 cases of the disease are reported every day at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
A Consultant at the Pediatric Unit of the children�s ward of the hospital, Dr Adziri Sackey, in an interview with Radio Ghana noted that the disease in children is not caused by sugar intake.
