The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has dismissed rumours that Dr. Paa Bobo is dead. According to them, "the Union, has been in close contact with the musician as well as the family, and can confirm that he is alive and recuperating." Media reports suggested that Dr. Paa Bobo had died but according to the union, although the legend is "on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Doctors are working tirelessly to ensure that he gets better and recovers fully." Therefore MUSIGA entreats the public to disregard news about the death of Dr. Paa Bobo.
