I Dare Not Tell Nana To Quit Politics; He Is My Senior In The Game - Isaac Osei

Hours after reports emerged that former Ghana's Ambassador to the UK and Ireland, Isaac Osei, had advised Nana Akufo Addo to quit politics and focus on protecting his statesmanship status, the former has now come out to beseech all to take the news with a pinch of salt. Hon. Isaac Osei rubbished the report which was first put out by Radio XYZ claiming that it smacks of lies. The Member of Parliament for the Subin constituency explained that at no point during the said interview did he state that Nana Addo should retire from politics. He charged the host of Okay FMs Adie Kye Bia show, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese to go for a copy of the tape and carefully analyze the contents. At no point in the interview did I say Nana Addo should retire from politics All I said was that judging from the way Nana comported himself during and after the elections shows that he has surpassed the stage of a politician and is now a statesman. He continued that it is his(Nanas) own business to continue with politics and if he should contest and win, I will support him. I will support him because this is what the doctrine of our party teaches us to do. I also hope he supports other candidates should he end up being defeated, he stated. He wrapped his explanation up by pointing out that he considers Nana Addo a senior in politics and would dare not try to tell him to quit politics when he still had the energy to do so.
