The General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie is in a haste to see the year skipped to 2016 so the Presidential election will be conducted to bail Ghanaians out the current hardship. According to Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, it will be an eyesore if the Mahama led government continues to deceive Ghanaians that the �Better Ghana Agenda� which they campaigned for in 2012 is still on course knowing very well the difficulties Ghanaians are going through. He however warned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by the Mahama administration to cease from chanting the �Better Ghana Agenda� slogan since it does not make any meaningful impact on the lives of Ghanaians. �It seems they (NDC) think we (Ghanaians) are fools. They claim the �Better Ghana Agenda� is still on course�where is the �Better�? So is this the �Better Ghana Agenda� they are talking about and want to continue? The NDC knows there is no better Ghana for Ghanaians,� he said. Speaking on Adom FM, the NPP chief scribe wonders why corruption is ruining the land, �crooked politicians betray the working man, pocketing the profits and treating us badly. We are tired of hearing promises that we know they will never keep�. Sir John as he is affectionately known further asked when 2016 will come for electorates to vote out the NDC and Mahama from government since their ruling has been awful. �When at all is 2016 coming? Ghanaians want change�so when is 2016 coming?� he questioned
