Ghana, Ethiopia Deepen Bilateral Cooperation

Ghana and Ethiopia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of commerce, trade, agriculture and security. The agreement to this effect was signed between Ghana's Foreign Minister, Hannah Tetteh, and her Ethiopian counterpart Dr Tedros Adhanon in Accra. Miss Tetteh said though the two countries have had long standing relations since the colonial days, the agenda of government is to deepen the relations to foster more collaboration. The Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Tedros Adhanon lauded Ghana's stability and economic development. He believes effective collaboration between the two countries will ensure exchange of ideas and help fulfil the dream of Ghana's first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah in pushing for continental unity and integration.
