NPP Leaders In Accra Should Be Voted Out - Ursula Owusu

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has charged Greater Accra delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote out current executive members to pave way for new and vibrant ones. Speaking on Adom TV, Tuesday, Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful expressed disgust at the attitude of the partys regional executives which she blamed for the partys woes. She said party leaders in Accra failed to capitalise on the apalling governance by the ruling NDC, during the 2012 electioneering campaign. According to her, the regional executives did not offer support to parliamentary candidates some of whom -including herself- had to rely on the expertise of former executives to be able to win seats for the party. Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful further accused Mr. Ishmael Ashiettey, Regional Chairman, of running the party from his residence in Tema to the neglect of the regional office. She has therefore charged party faithful in Greater Accra to vote out all the current executives and bring in vibrant and proactive people who have what it takes to lead the NPP to victory in 2016.
