NPP Members Must Show More Commitment - Adwoa Safo

Member of parliament for Dome /Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo has advised members of the New Patriotic Party to show more dedication and commitment towards the party and work more assiduously for colossal victory in the coming general elections in 2016. Speaking on " empowering the people to victory in 2016" to delegates at the just ended national delegates congress of NPP in charlotte in North Carolina, USA, the vibrant MP said party members must not expect to be paid before they work for the party . "Party members must be seen to show open commitment and dedication and not ask for money before they work for the party. That way we are sure of winning the next general elections" She noted. " Ghana at this time is in tatters , corruption has over crowded us and the stench is all over and Nothing seem to work now as our people continue to wallop in abject poverty ,She told the gathered crowd". Corroborating her claim, she said it's mind boggling that top government officials including the majority leader to jump into the defense of the dubious sale of merchant bank to fortiz equity fund . Today all manner of policies are being introduced without recourse to our priorities , the NDC governments do not think about Ghanaians and they think imposition of taxes is the remedy. They have taxed everything including condoms. This tells you that the government do not know what they are about . She warned that if Ghanaians fail to protect their assets and stop the mahama led NDC government from the wanton mismanagement of the nations resources, it will not be a surprise to hear that the nation has been sold . "The first step to achieve self empowerment is to unite our front and see party matters first and making all other matters secondary . We need to speak in a manner that will provide hope to our sympathizers ans also attract more floating voters... We have to avoid corrupt leaders and vote for transparent and open minded leaders. Our leaders must be seen to show or accommodate divergent views , every hands must be on deck to work assiduously for the party's victory and never to demand money before they work.
