The Daily Heritage newspaper has apologized to Greater Accra Regional Minister, Julius Debrah, over the publication of articles with respect to his relationship with his ex-lover, Gemima Duffie. The paper in two separate publications in November 5 and 6, 2013, had accused the Minister of shirking his parental responsibilities by allegedly refusing to look after the two children he had with Ms. Duffie during their love affair. But the paper in its Friday January 17, 2014 edition, apologized "unreservedly" to Mr. Julius Debrah as well as withdrew the publications.
