Bernard Mornah Lauds Prez Mahama's Commitment To Fight Corruption

Bernard Mornah has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to fight corruption as well stop the rot at GYEEDA. To him, if the President continues �like this, corruption will be reduced in our society� The PNC General Secretary was commenting on government�s cancellation of contract of service providers under the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA). After the news broke that contract of service providers: RLG, Asongtaba, the Better Ghana Management Services Limited among others have been cancelled, the main opposition described it as a charade which will create more judgment debt while the NDC insisted that it was a step in the right direction. Contributing to panel discussions on Radio Gold�s Alhaji and Alhaji, Bernard Mornah said he has always applauded the President�s commitment to fight corruption; even though sometimes he does not agree with his mode. �This is what I describe as very decisive decisions pertaining to the handling of issues of corruption. I sometimes disagree with the mode but I think that he has shown sufficient commitment to fighting corruption. He may not succeed in terminating corruption but he will go down as one person who came out, investigated and set up to recoup what for the first time we have lost to individuals and possibly lead them to prosecution,�
