Ghana Near The Brink Of Becoming A Very Dangerous Country To Live In - Kofi Jumah

An unemployed existence is a worse negation of life than death itself. Being unemployed is disastrous for individuals than one would expect. Aside from the obvious challenges such as poverty, difficulty paying off debts, it seems to directly affect peoples health. Questions the idle normally hear are why are most people unemployed? Their responses are just simple, Because there is no work. Why is there no work? Because people are not buying products and services Why are people not buying products and services? Because they have no money Why do people have no money? Because they are jobless!. This, according to a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa constituency, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, sums up the current situation the country finds itself in making Ghana one of the most dangerous countries to live in. He noted that, unlike previous governments, the Mahama-led administration has been fortunate but yet has nothing worthy of note to tout as its credentials. What is wrong? Why do we behave in an irresponsible way to see our situation grow worse? Only about 2% of our graduates are employed, meaning the 98 % of our graduate are jobless, he claimed. Speaking on Adom FM, the outspoken former Parliamentarian also known as Kofi Ghana sought to find out what if 10% of the unemployed ventures into prostitution and crimethen you will have a country which will be very dangerous to live in. He however cautioned that If we do not sit up, our future leaders will turn Cyprians. The former Asokwa constituency MP further stated that there is no such thing as a good citizen paying his tax. He noted that, his reason for willingly paying his tax is to help the less privilege. This he believes the Holy Scriptures approves. Nonetheless, he urged all to help government save innocent souls who cannot afford living. I am not against taxes. If you have you must pay tax to take care of the needy. But if my tax is rather used to feed the richesGod will punish someone. That is what we do in this country; we tax the poor to feed the riches, he said.
