NPP Beats Unity Drum

The Ashanti Regional Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been admonished to uphold unity in order to make the party strong and attractive to new people. Justine Kodua, the newly-elected Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP, said I t was crucial for the party to stay united after the inauguration of new regional executives of the party. He advised the partys faithful to forgive each other, stressing that the NPP requires peace and unity to progress. Kodua stated that with unity, the NDC would be no match for the NPP considering the hardship it has imposed on Ghanaians. Launching the maiden Ashanti Regional youth Wing of the NPP in Kumasi, he said the youth of the NPP in the region, which is considered the stronghold of the NPP, were ready for action. Kodua noted that the NPP youth in the area would intensify its activities to woo more people. He said the agenda of the Ashanti Regional Youth Wing of the NPP is to recapture political power in 2016 after two successive electoral defeats to the NDC. Kodua noted that the youth of the party would work to ensure that 500,000 new voters were registered for the 2016 polls in the area. He said the NPP would reduce the NDCs share of votes in the region in 2016, charging the partys faithful to start campaigning vigorously. Kodua also urged the supporters of the party to get involved in the activities of the party.
