"NPP Needs Re-branding"

An aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gifty Oware Aboagye has called for a re-branding of the largest opposition party in the country to make it attractive to the youth. The eloquent politician who communicated her visions and aspirations for the party to the media after filling her nomination forms to contest the portfolio said her visions are all geared towards working to bring back the NPP to power in 2016. NPP must re-think, we must re-brand, and must also rejuvenate but I dont want us to see the partys youth department as a wing but as a secretariat, she said. Gifty is contesting the position with seven (7) male members of the party but believes her position as the only female aspirant does not intimidate her instead strengthens her to work hard and claim victory for the party. I am not intimidated at all and have never been intimidated since childhood because I believe in myself, I have confidence, and as someone coming from a family where all are men who have always motivated me to strongly believe in my abilities, I dont fear at all, she added. Her strategy she said would evolve around a re-branding to make the NPP more attractive not only to the youth but also floating voters. I will work to bring on board first-time voters and floating voters as they determine the outcome of Gifty Oware-Aboagye is an NPP youth Organiser aspirantevery election in the country, she promised. Against this backdrop, Ms Oware Aboagye maintained her determination to create a youth secretariat which would oversee all the activities of the youth in the NPP and Ghana in general. This would allow better management and coordination of the youth, who she said would act as the fulcrum for the NPPs 2016 campaign. Gifty Oware-Aboagye is on the verge of making history by becoming the first female youth organizer of a political party on her election; an achievement, she said she would work hard to fulfill.
