No sooner had Arsene Wenger compared the six-goal humiliation at Chelsea to a car crash than he climbed back behind the wheel, turned the key, checked his mirrors and drove into the gatepost - twice.
It is as if Arsenal have malfunctioned after catching their own version of the Millennium bug: demolished in Wenger's 1,000th game at Chelsea and held at home by Swansea in game 1,001.
