ModernGhana has finally uncovered the perpetrators of the high tech hijack of our operations online and it appears from all indications that they are on a hit parade to run down the website. Luckily, because of their continuous stupid attacks, it has finally revealed their own cover. ModernGhana is hosted in The Netherlands and falls under the Dutch Jurisdiction, and under the Dutch Law, it's a high criminal offence to DDoS a website. Evidence is already handed to the Dutch Police for further investigation. Luckily also, the Interpol is very interested in the case. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is one in which a multitude of compromised systems attack a single target, thereby causing denial of service for users of the targeted system. The flood of incoming messages to the target system essentially forces it to shut down, thereby denying service to the system to legitimate users. Apparently and interestingly, it is not only ModernGhana that is at the receiving end of the attacks. The Data Center that hosts ModernGhana servers and also a lot of companies servers were also affected in the attack. Hence the senseless damage caused is simply incomprehensible and very criminal. All those companies that has suffered that unnecessary attack wants the perpetrators brought to justice and also to recover their operational lost. By and large, it is highly irrefutable how ModernGhana website has for several years served the bigger interest of mother Ghana by offering a platform and opening the gates for investors to come into Ghana. It would therefore be unwise at the highest order to ghastly bring down the website at this stage. ModernGhana would therefore like to draw the attention of those saboteurs that all those kinds of stories have been cleared from our database and archives. Be fully advised to cease the continuous attacks on ModernGhana, since we have also ceased fire or better face the worst ever and the ugliest parts of all. By the way, the Interpol is still investigating the matter and we are also obliged to give further evidence whatsoever for the investigation progress. Affected companies also want their lost recover and lastly, this is a damaging case for Ghana and it is disgusting. Apart from the serious crime committed by the Saboteurs with this attack, we cannot also ignore the huge economic loss caused to Ghana, Investors, the International community and ModernGhana itself at large. It�s proven that the Saboteurs have no knowledge of the immerse contributions of free information and investments ModernGhana have helped attract into Ghana. Ever since ModernGhana have been launched couple of years ago, the site has demonstrated its independency, non-partisan, professionalism, excellent and accurate detail information to all visitors. It�s of this fact that the site has become the most reliable source for information on Ghana to the International community and foreign investors. As these Saboteurs/criminals are short-sighted, we believe this will wake them up to their senses that this attack is not only on ModernGhana, but a crime against civil society, the Ghanaian democracy and the international community. Whatever motives you may have, the normal process of handling issues in a matured manner is to engage in a dialogue to resolve them rather than committing severe crime. Even if it will take months, you will still be caught, expose and face justice. No matter how long it may take a tiger to get meat, it�s certain the tiger will never become a vegetarian.
