Hearts Of Oak Targets Bechem United Goalkeeper Ernest Adu

Accra Hearts of Oak are said to be closing in on Bechem United's impressive goalkeeper Ernest Adu as the Phobians seek to find an end to their goalkeeping problems in recent years, Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered. The Accra-based club have endured a torrent season and specifically struggled with goalkeeping issues. The club has already shipped in 22 goals in 23 premier league matches, the poorest record amongst the top 4 teams, after failing to deal with injuries to Tetteh Luggard and Philemon MCcarthy. The two have looked far from convincing so far in the season and the 2000 CAF Champions League winners have sounded out interest in the former Ghana U-17 shot-stopper. Hearts of Oak scouts who have watched the 23 year old goalkeeper are said to have been impressed with the former B.A Stars glovesman who has been an integral part Bechem United's spectacular season. Adu told Angel FM "I have had people who have commended me this season and its encouraging to see clubs recognise your output and show interest in you". "Some management members of the club have called to tell me of some interests they have received and are always advising me to keep my head high and that is what every goalkeeper needs". "Hearts of Oak? its interesting to hear such news but I'm more concerned with helping my club to achieve our target of getting into the top 4 and that is our immediate task". He added
