Friends of Kwabena Agyapong abroad have expressed shock over the accident that happened on Tuesday, April 6, 2014 involving him and his campaign team on the Accra-Kumasi road.
According to them, news of the accident reached them like a blow as they all wishes he could wrap up his campaign for the national conference.
A statement signed by Jerry Amponsah, alias Sabbato, Co-ordinator of Friends of Kwabena Agyapong said their pain in response to the sad and shocking development was beyond measure.
The statement said Kwabena Agyapong had ably demonstrated to the rank and file of the party that he was selflessly committed to serving the party to ensure a resounding victory in 2016 and that they were with him in spirit and asking for the favour of God upon him and his campaign team.
�We call on him and the campaign team to think of victory in 2016 in casting their votes in Tamale,� the statement urged.
