Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso picked up an injury during Rubin Kazan�s 2-1 win over Spartak Moscow but the severity has been played down ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
The 22-year-old was replaced at halftime having picked up the knock in the Russian top flight match.
Wakaso�s injury is however deemed not serious as he took part in the recovery training on Monday.
The ex Espanyol man is expected to make Ghana�s squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He was therefore taken off as a precautionary measure, Rubin Kazan sources told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The Ghanaian was making his 10th league appearance of the season.
