Chase Forever Releases New Single, Changes Name

Ghanaian musician, Chase Forever born Fianko Bossman has on Thursday, May 1 released a new single of his imminent �Unappreciated� album. The new single is titled Pull Me Down and is produced by Gafacci, one of Ghana�s most talent producers around. It is about the singer�s struggles in the music industry and how he feels unappreciated. It also hints how his own family (friends) has abandoned him at the time he needed them the most in his career. The song basically highlights the frustrations in his music career. He also uses this to announce that he has changed his name from Chase to Chase Forever as part of an ongoing branding ahead of the release of his new album. Chase Forever is a recording artiste and songwriter, who was born in Hackney Town, London. He began his musical career as a rapper with the rap group �Souljas Inn�, and then made a transition to R&B when he started receiving many plaudits for his song writing and singing during his college years. His superb skills as a songwriter have seen him compose songs for several Ghanaian stars such as Jane (now Efya) and Adina of �Stars of the Future� fame and Mimi of �Big Brother Africa� fame. Chase has also performed on the same stage with well acclaimed international stars like Mario, and Shontelle. He won �best male video of the year� at the 2012 4Syte Music Video Awards. Chase had three nominations for the 2013 edition of Vodafone's Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), which included nomination for �record of the year� for his song �Lonely�, and video of the year. He won the video of the year category. He was also nominated for 2013 Channel O's Music Video Awards in the most gifted R&B video category. His songs �Finally�, �Lonely�, �Tell me your name�, and �Fire� are still enjoying constant rotation on radio stations throughout Ghana. Chase had some of his videos shown on all major Ghanaian TV networks, and foreign networks such MuchMusic, VH1 Soul, Channel O, Trace, and MTV.
