Sacked MCE Hijacks Vehicle

INFORMATION Reaching Daily Guide indicates that the recently sacked Municipal Chief Executive of Lower Manya Municipal Assembly, Issac Tetteh Agbo, has taken control of the State vehicles he was using. Reliable sources hinted Daily Guide that the embattled MCE was still using the official Nissan Patrol with registration number GN 1949 11 and had failed to park it at the premises of the Assembly, although he had been asked to hand over all State properties in his possession to the Eastern Regional Minister. The paper gathered that the MCE had vacated the State bungalow where he resided before his dismissal by President Mahama following a series of demonstrations the NDC youth, together with the chiefs in the area staged against him. Meanwhile, the angry NDC youth have vowed to seize the vehicle whenever they spot it. Atenas, one of the party activists who briefed DAILY GUIDE, said the youth were prepared to confront Mr. Agbo Tetteh for the vehicle. However, several attempts to speak to Tetteh Agbo proved futile as he failed to pick his phone calls. The Lower Manya Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Kofi, when contacted by this reporter via telephone, refused to comment on the issue and hanged up.
