The Chief Priest of the Osu Traditional Council, Nuumo Gblelenfo has said the much awaited cruiser weight fight involving Michael Ayittey Okine � AyitteyPowers� and Braimah Kamoko �Bukom Banku� faces another postponement due to the ban on drumming and dancing. The bout, initially fixed for April 16, was called off after Ayittey Powers pulled out citing religious reasons and lack of mental fortitude. Gbelenfo told GNA Sports that, the month-long "ban on dancing and drumming starts on May 9, and failure to adhere to the directives amounts to disrespect to the gods. Sanctions will be meted to anyone who disrespect the law with a fine of 10,000.00 cedis" During the period, he said "all matches involving the league and the national teams fixed for the Accra Sports Stadium must be moved to other arenas in other not to incur any wrath from the Ga customs and traditions. �It is the time for the council to ban noise making in the Ga state. Anyone who takes authority in his/her own hands will face the wrath of the Osu traditional council. We would not allow the bout to come off because it falls within the stipulated time. �All matches at the stadium should be moved to the other regions, the ban cut across all forms of noise making including .churches, funerals, and shoe making." He suggested to the organizers of the cruiser weight bout to either postpone it or relocate the venue to a different region.
