The Odikro and people of Nkyerepoaso in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality have threatened to invoke Antoa to strike unscrupulous individuals who defecate in classrooms the Nkyerepoaso M/A Primary School.
The situation, which has persisted for about one year, has occurred more than 20 times in the school.
Explaining the matter, Nana Ntiamoah Amankuo II, chief of Nkyerepoaso said they have done their best to avert the situation but to no avail.
He said they first hired two watchmen to monitor after-school activities and announced a reward of GH�500 for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators, but it has yielded no positive results.
According to him, they have also consulted some spiritualists to help them find those persons behind the act.
He revealed that one spiritualist has mentioned that there students who were punished by a teacher for wrongdoing were the persons committing those offences.
�Upon hearing this, we sent for their parents, who denied the accusations and old us to search again,� he said.
Nana Amankuo II said a sensitization event was held for parents, students and natives but the perpetrators continue to defecate in the classrooms.
He said after all efforts failed, they consulted a spiritualist, who has promised to expose the criminals.
Nana Amankuo II said if the spiritualist fails, they will invoke Antoa to strike the perpetrators.
He expressed fear that the Ghana Education Service may close down the school due to poor enrollment as a result of the act.
He appealed to all and sundry to help complete the school block.
